Wind Phone Bulgaria is a personal project created to tell the story of the Wind Phone idea, collect information about phones created in Bulgaria, and help people discover these places.

This policy explains what information may be collected through windphone.bg and how it is used.

What data do I collect?

When simply browsing the site, you do not need to provide personal data.

Data can be provided voluntarily through the forms on the site.

Contact form

When you send a message via the contact form, the following may be collected:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • the content of the message.

This data is used solely to receive and respond to the inquiry.

Tell Me Form

If you have created a Wind Phone and decide to tell about it, you can voluntarily provide:

  • name and email address;
  • Wind Phone name, if any;
  • settlement or locality;
  • link to the location;
  • phone history;
  • photos.

The email address is used to contact you and will not be published.

Information about Wind Phone, its history, location and provided photos can be published at windphone.bg only after your explicit consent, given through the corresponding field in the form.

Sending information does not mean automatic publication on the site.

Photos and content you send

Please only submit photos and content that you have the right to provide.

If the photos show recognizable people, make sure you have the necessary consent for them to be published.

By submitting content and consenting to its publication, you allow it to be used on windphone.bg in connection with the presentation of the respective Wind Phone.

The copyright on the provided photos and texts remains with their authors.

What is the data used for?

The personal data provided is used only to the extent necessary for:

  • reply to sent messages;
  • communication regarding a submitted story;
  • checking and preparing information about Wind Phone before publication;
  • publishing content when explicit consent has been given;
  • site protection from spam and abuse.

The data is not sold or provided to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long is data stored?

Correspondence and information sent through the forms are kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which they were provided.

When a Wind Phone story is published on the site, the texts, photos and information submitted for publication may remain published until their removal is requested.

Cookies and external services

windphone.bg may use technically necessary cookies for the proper functioning and security of the site.

When external services are used — for example, for spam protection, maps, videos, statistics, or other external content — the respective providers may process technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Here we need to specifically enter Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Maps, Cloudflare Turnstile, etc., if you actually use them. I wouldn't publish a made-up list before we know what the site actually loads.

Your rights

In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, you may request:

  • information about the personal data that is processed about you;
  • correction of inaccurate data;
  • deletion of your personal data;
  • restriction or objection to certain processing;
  • withdrawal of consent.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal.

You can also file a complaint with Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

Do you want a story or photo removed?

If you have provided a story, photo, or information about Wind Phone and later request that it be corrected or removed from the site, simply contact me.

You don't need to give a reason.
